In this class participants will learn the basics of pop-up book design, including creating basic pop-up mechanisms, incorporating artistic elements, and assembling a simple pop-up book
We will discuss the history and art of pop-up books, looking at examples of different types of pop-up mechanisms and books to inspire participants. In this exploration, we will learn about the different folds and artistic elements that go in to the engineering behind the magic of pop-up books.
Participants leave with a solid understanding of pop-up book basics and a completed project they can be proud of!
