In this introductory woodworking class, students will learn, through both live demonstrations and hands-on experience, a number of types of wood joinery machining techniques.  While there will be no formal project produced as a part of this class, each student will leave with a small box full of the sample joints they produced, the confidence to build the joints themselves, and an expanded vocabulary of joinery techniques to deploy in their own projects. 

The class will cover: basic rules for wood joinery and the following common joint types: butt, rabbeted, fingerlap, scarf, coped, half-lap, bridle, miter, splined miter, biscuit, pocket hole screw, Domino, mortise & tenon.

** Classes are transferable up to 48 hours before class, but not refundable.
