Introduction to Wood Turning
Begin your introduction into the art of wood turning with Jared Moran of Wildland Woodworks! We will cover the basics of the lathe, lathe tools and accessories. We will start with a discussion of various holding techniques and proper form for safety. Students will practice these new skills by turning a handle on the lathe and creating a bottle opener, which they will take home after sanding and sealing. The maximum number of students will cap at 4, so that each student receives one on one instruction.
