Prepping Rough Sawn Lumber

$110.00

Beginner Level

This class will teach the process for preparing rough sawn stock for use in woodworking projects. Across the evening, each student will be given an instruction to and hands-on use of the jointer, planer, and table saw. From this experience, students will learn how to produce a piece of S4S lumber from rough sawn stock. If time allows, there will be additional discussion on alternative ways to prep S4S lumber from rough sawn stock, as not everybody has the space needed for the machines traditionally used in this process.

Additionally, if time allows, students will be able to run a couple pieces of their own stock through the machines in a brief session that will be open to those who wish to participate after the class formally concludes.

** Classes are transferable up to 48 hours before class, but not refundable.
